5/4 Romp is a short and lively piece in 5/4 time originally composed by Jazz & Vox for piano solo. It is a treat for pianists who like to play fast. At no point in the piano solo arrangement does any one hand need to stretch any more than a sixth on the keyboard (hence the "little hands"). The xylophone arrangement calls for a Xylophone Solo and provides for a Xylophone Accompaniment. The Xylophone Accompaniment may be played by a second xylophonist on the same (or different) xylophone. The xylophone accompaniment may also be substituted by another accompanying instrument (such as a piano) or by a recording made available by the publisher (see above). |
